Alberto Nosè gained his first recognition at the age of eleven, winning First Prize in the Jugend für Mozart International Competition in Salzburg, thanks to which he held his first concert tour around Italy, Austria and France.

He went on to win prizes at prestigious international piano competitions: Premio Venezia (1st Prize unanimously in 1998), F. Busoni in Bolzano (2nd Prize “with particular distinction” in 1999), Vendôme Prize in Paris (1st Prize in 2000), World Piano Competition in London (2nd Prize in 2002), Maj Lind in Helsinki (1st Prize in 2002), L. Gante in Pordenone (1st Prize in 2002), Long-Thibaud in Paris (2nd Prize in 2004), Top of the World in Tromsø (1st Prize in 2011).

However, the prizes in piano competitions like Piano-Masters in Montecarlo in 2015, Paloma O’Shea in Santander in 2005 and F. Chopin in Warsaw in 2000 are the ones that project him to an intense concert career in the major concert halls: Carnegie Hall di New York, Southbank Centre and Wigmore Hall in London, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Théâtre du Châtelet and Salle Pleyel in Paris, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Parco della Musica in Rome.

He is regularly invited to important concert series in France, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Spain, USA, Mexico, South America, China, Japan and Hong Kong.

He has performed in recital and chamber music with the Italian cellist Rocco Filippini, the Ysaÿe Quartet, the Venetian Quartet, and as a soloist with the London Philharmonic, English Chamber Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Warsaw Philharmonic, Finnish Radio Symphony, Sinfonica RTVE de Madrid, Janacek Philharmonic, Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife, Mexico State Symphony.

He often holds masterclasses at Conservatories, Colleges, Institutes and International Music Festivals, such as the Conservatory in Geneva, the Mannes College of Music in New York, the Bowdoin Festival in Brunswick (Maine – USA) and in Japan.

In 2009, the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International assigns him the title of Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) to career.

He is regularly invited as jury member in important international piano competitions, like the F. Chopin in Warsaw in 2010 and holds Masterclasses in Conservatories, Academies and Music Schools in Italy and abroad.

Alberto Nosè is the Official Yamaha Piano Artist.
